Homemade Oat Flour

Homemade Oat Flour

Steps:
1. Purchase old-fashioned oats (not quick or instant oats) in bulk.
2. Take desired portion of whole oats and process in a food processor, blender, coffee grinder or milling attachment to a kitchenaid.  Process until fine.
3. Use right away or store oat flour in a airtight container.  Use within a month or so.

Note: 1 cup whole oats = 3/4 cup oat flour (after processing in a food processor)
